Deposit Policy: A non-refundable deposit of $200 by credit card is required to reserve each cabin per stay. $100 is required to rent a pontoon boat. Once reserved, you are responsible for the full amount of your stay; full payment is required for late cancellations. No credit will be given for early departures, cancellations or late arrivals. Deposits are applied to the last day of your reservation. All rental fees are subject to MN sales tax and all other applicable taxes. Reservations are not transferable to other parties.
Credit Card Payments: We accept credit card payments. Credit card payments include a 3% surcharge.
Check In/Check Out: All guests and visitors must check in at the front office upon arrival. We ask that guests settle rental fees with us upon arrival or the day before in the afternoon, prior to your next day departure.
No early arrivals please or late checkouts. Unless prior arrangements have been made, please allow us time to ready your cabin and grounds area. Please plan to arrive and depart at stated times. Check in time: 3:00 pm. Check out time: 8:30am.
If you should decide to arrive late or check out early, no credit or refund is given.
No-Smoking Allowed In Cabins: All cabins are non-smoking, effective with the October 1, 2007, MN smoking ban law. For the enjoyment of everyone and their health, all smoking is to be done outside the cabin.
Provisions: We provide bed linens, pots, pans, dishes, utensils, microwave,stove, refrigerator, drip coffee maker, toaster and charcoal grill. Guests provide bath and dishtowels, personal items and food.
Dog Policy: (No cats or other pets please!) For the enjoyment of all guests, dogs are welcome only by prior arrangement and necessity. We do not allow aggressive dogs or those that are not use to/like children. Our fees are comparable to dog kenneling to encourage use of local dog kennels. You are responsible to keep them leashed at all times and to pick up after them when on the premises. For the enjoyment of all, we ask that you keep them from the beach and swimming areas. They are not permitted in the bedrooms or on the furniture and are not to be left unattended in the cabins or tied up by stakes. Because of this, we recommend you bring a portable kennel. This has worked well for our guests. We reserve the right to charge for any damage caused by any pet. For enjoyment of all of our guests, exception to any policy above will not be tolerated.
Sales Tax: All rental fees are subject to Minnesota sales tax and applicable lodging taxes.
Jet Skis, ATVs, Dirt Bikes: In order to provide all of our guests with the relaxing experience they desire, we prefer jet skis, dirt bikes and ATVs are only trailered in and out on the property.
Boat Rental from Other Vendors/Entities: If you have secured a boat or pontoon rental from another vendor, please let them know that delivery and landing is not to take place until after the appropriate cabin check in time as listed. We are not responsible/liable for any damage to boats/pontoons, etc., rented from other vendors.
Tenting/RVs: We do not allow tenting or RVs by cabins for extra sleeping room. Please do not ask.
RV Policy: We allow 6 guests per RV site to prevent congestion. Boat docking is available for extra cost. There are extra fees for dogs. RV dogs must be kept out of cabins or additional charges will apply.
Office & Store: The store is closed on Saturday until 3:00 pm to allow us time to ready your cabin. Please plan to arrive after that time. The store is also closed Sunday mornings until 2:00 p.m., allowing time for Sunday worship services. A small amount of necessities, as well as souvenirs are available for purchase in the store. Games, books, cards, & various balls are available in the store for all to use, free of charge.
